CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates of the Program of Applied English and Translation can work in translation companies, public agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Tourism, embassies, consulates, cultural centres, hotel and travel agencies, publishing houses, magazines, newspapers, media and press organisations such as radio stations, television channels, and film studios, and the foreign trade or export/import departments of the international organisations. They can also take the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) to transfer to 4-year degree departments of faculties such as English Language and Literature, American Culture and Literature, Translation and Interpreting (English), and English Linguistics.
